Abstract

In the article there is the analysis of R. Kudasheva’s song ‘‘A Christmas tree was born in the forest...’’ and its role in the Russian culture of the XX century. The author is interested in the stylistic features of the poem, the immanent analysis of the text and its existence throughout the 20th century.: how the text existed during the ban on Christmas and the subsequent ‘‘rehabilitation of the Christmas tree’’ how it reflected ideas about the need to protect nature and ban poaching. The paper analyzes illustrations, animated films and parodies related to Kudasheva’s song as a reflection of children’s perception and the existence of the text in society. Special attention is paid to the analysis of other poems and the identification of the place ‘‘A Christmas tree was born in the forest...’’ in the children’s literary canon.
